Reinforcement Learning Summer School

June 3rd — 12th 2026, Milan

RLSS 2026 takes place in the Città Studi area of Milan, at two Politecnico di Milano classrooms. Use these links rather than searching for the university generically.

The two classrooms are a short walk from each other, so most public transport options work for both.

By metro

The easiest option is usually the M2 green line. Get off at Piola.

For Aula Emilio Gatti, take the left exit from Piola, follow Via D'Ovidio to Via Spinoza, keep left and cross Via Bonardi into Piazza Leonardo da Vinci. Turn left and follow Via Bonardi. At the traffic light, cross the street, turn right into Via Ponzio, then take the first narrow road on the left. Go straight to number 34/5. Building 20 is inside the DEIB area.

For Aula 3.0.3, take the left exit from Piola, follow Via D'Ovidio to Via Spinoza, keep left and cross Via Bonardi into Piazza Leonardo da Vinci. The Politecnico main campus is in front of you. Go to Via Celoria 1, enter Building 3 and follow signs to Aula 3.0.3 on the ground floor.

You can also use Lambrate FS on the M2 line. It is useful if you arrive by regional train or if your route is better connected through Lambrate. From there, walk or take a short bus/tram connection toward Via Ponzio for Aula Emilio Gatti or Via Celoria for Aula 3.0.3.

If you arrive from Linate airport or from the east side of the city, M4 Argonne is another convenient stop. From Argonne, both classrooms are about a 10-15 minute walk.

Local public transport

The Città Studi area is also served by several tram and bus lines, including routes around Piola, Lambrate, Via Celoria and Via Ponzio. Useful nearby lines often include trams 19 and 33 and buses/trolleybuses such as 61, 90, 91 and 93.

For the most reliable route on the day, check the official ATM journey planner or use Google Maps with the classroom links above.

Tickets

Metro, tram and bus services in Milan are operated by ATM. You can usually buy tickets through the ATM app, at metro stations or by using contactless payment at the metro gates. Check the ATM website for current fares and ticket rules before travelling.
